Hi, I'm David Wren

I run my own freelance web development business - Wren Development. I'm currently based in Burton-upon-Trent, but have also worked in Brighton, Dundee and the Isle of Man. This means I have developed my business to be as flexible as possible and have growing number of clients from all over the UK and the Isle of Man.

Skills

I specialise in producing standards compliant and accessible websites built using XHTML, CSS and Javascript. I also use PHP to build the pages of my sites and retrieve data from MySQL databases quite often this takes the form of a CMS.

I have begun to specialise in developing custom templates and designs for wordpress sites. This involves extensive customisation and configuration to build powerful sites using the wordpress platform as a CMS.

I am also familiar with a number of other technologies, to find out more read the rest of my background.

Availability

I am currently occupied with several of projects at the moment, which means I am booked up until January 2009.
